The Wisdom of The Sacred Bee Oracle

The Wisdom of The Sacred Bee Oracle is a 68-card deck created by artist Kelly Burton, designed to deepen connection with divination and promote the welfare of bees. This oracle deck expands upon the themes and imagery established in Burton's earlier work, The Journey of The Sacred Bee Tarot, offering a complementary system for guidance and introspection.

The deck's core concept revolves around the symbolic importance of bees, integrating their industrious nature, community spirit, and connection to the natural world into its messages. Each card is intended to provide insights into personal consciousness, family relations, and overall well-being, reflecting the creator's holistic approach to divination. The artwork combines natural elements with geometric patterns and a vivid color palette, creating a visually engaging experience.

While the campaign blurb initially stated 52 cards, the main blurb and successful funding indicate a 68-card deck. The physical product includes a custom-designed reading cloth and crystal grid as part of some reward tiers, suggesting a comprehensive offering for those seeking to integrate the deck into their spiritual practice. The deck aims to be both a tool for personal growth and a subtle reminder of the ecological importance of bees.

The artwork is a vibrant blend of digital illustration and mixed media, characterized by a rich, saturated color palette featuring purples, pinks, oranges, and greens. Geometric patterns, such as hexagons and sacred geometry motifs, are layered over painterly backgrounds that evoke cosmic or ethereal landscapes. Central to many cards are detailed illustrations of bees, often rendered with a luminous quality, alongside natural elements like sunflowers and other flora. The style is modern and energetic, with a slightly mystical feel, designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and symbolically resonant.

This deck is ideal for oracle readers who appreciate nature-themed decks, particularly those with an interest in bees, ecology, and spiritual connection. It appeals to individuals seeking a vibrant, intuitively readable deck for personal reflection on topics like well-being, family, and consciousness. Readers who enjoy a blend of natural imagery with modern, geometric, and colorful aesthetics will find this deck particularly engaging.
