The Tulku Oracle

The Tulku Oracle is a 53-card oracle deck created by Karla Refoxo, designed to offer guidance through a rich tapestry of symbols, archetypes, and totems. The deck draws its inspiration from the Tulkujewels brand, suggesting a connection to spiritual and symbolic jewelry or artifacts. The deck's imagery encompasses a wide range of spiritual and natural elements, including chakras, sacred geometry like the Vesica Piscis, animal totems such as the Buffalo and Jaguar, and deities like Medicine Buddha and Lakshmi. This diverse collection of symbols points to a holistic approach to spirituality, blending elements from various traditions. The accompanying full-length book provides in-depth explanations for each card, making the deck accessible for both seasoned oracle users and those new to divination.

Visually, the deck features a rich, layered aesthetic with a strong emphasis on color and texture. The cards appear to have a slightly distressed or aged quality, giving them an ancient yet vibrant feel. The combination of evocative artwork and comprehensive textual guidance positions The Tulku Oracle as a tool for deep personal exploration and spiritual connection.

The artwork for The Tulku Oracle is characterized by its rich, layered, and highly textured aesthetic. Each card presents a vibrant, almost psychedelic color palette, with hues that blend and bleed into one another, creating a sense of depth and movement. The style appears to be a digital collage or mixed media approach, where photographic elements, painterly textures, and symbolic illustrations are combined. For instance, the 'Buffalo' card shows an animal form emerging from a swirl of greens, blues, and earthy tones, while 'Medicine Buddha' features a seated figure rendered in glowing, multi-colored gradients against a warm, fiery background. The cards often have a distressed or aged border, giving them an antique, mystical feel.
