The Obsidian Oracle Deck

The Obsidian Oracle Deck, created by artist Megan Buccere, is a 40-card oracle deck designed to offer intuitive guidance. Launched successfully on Kickstarter in 2019, the deck features original painted artwork by Buccere, known for her distinctive artistic style. The campaign emphasized the deck's handcrafted quality and the personal touch of the artist.

Each deck comes with a tuck box and a guidebook, providing interpretations for the 40 unique cards. The reward tiers offered various enhancements, including signed decks, postcard prints, handmade ceramic card stands, and hand-stamped deck bags, highlighting the artisanal nature of the project. Higher tiers even included original oil paintings or graphite drawings of cards from the deck, underscoring the value placed on the artwork itself.

The deck is presented as a tool for personal reflection and insight, with the artwork serving as the primary conduit for its messages. The focus on artist-painted cards suggests a deck where the visual aesthetic and the creator's unique vision are central to the reading experience.
