🦉 The Mystical Birds Tarot Deck

The Mystical Birds Tarot Deck is a full 78-card set that reimagines traditional tarot through the lens of surreal, colorful avian imagery. Created by DEISEN Design, a German studio, the deck infuses each card with a magical fantasy aesthetic, using birds as central figures to convey the archetypal meanings. The campaign emphasizes the passion and love poured into its creation, aiming to offer a unique and visually striking tarot experience.

The deck's design leans into a vibrant, almost psychedelic color palette, setting it apart from more traditional or muted tarot decks. While the campaign story is brief, it highlights the core concept of 'surreal magical fantasy inspired by colorful birds,' which is clearly reflected in the visual style. The cards appear to maintain a standard tarot structure, making them accessible to readers familiar with the system while offering a fresh artistic interpretation.

As a project from a design studio, the deck likely prioritizes visual impact and aesthetic coherence. The use of birds as a consistent motif across all 78 cards provides a cohesive theme that can guide interpretation. The deck's focus on a 'magical fantasy' theme suggests an intuitive reading experience, inviting users to connect with the imagery on a deeper, more imaginative level.

The artwork is characterized by bold, high-contrast digital illustrations with a striking neon color palette. Birds are depicted in a surreal, stylized manner, often with elongated forms and vibrant, almost glowing plumage in shades of fuchsia, electric blue, bright orange, and deep teal. The compositions are dynamic, set against dark, often gradient backgrounds that make the colorful birds pop. Each card features a thick, ornate border, possibly gold-foiled, which frames the central illustration and adds a touch of elegance. The style is distinctly modern and graphic, blending elements of fantasy art with a psychedelic edge.

This deck is ideal for tarot readers who appreciate vibrant, contemporary art and are drawn to fantasy or surreal themes. It will appeal to collectors looking for visually distinctive decks, especially those with an affinity for bird imagery or a bold color aesthetic. Readers seeking an intuitive experience with a modern twist on traditional tarot will find this deck engaging, particularly if they enjoy a departure from classic RWS or Thoth styles.
