THE INSIGHT TAROT DECK

Bailey consciously referenced historical tarot structures, such as the Visconti-Sforza, Marseilles, and Rider-Waite-Smith decks, while introducing innovations like a half-male, half-female Chariot figure and replacing traditional religious imagery in Judgment with a Phoenix, a more universal symbol of redemption. The artwork also avoids specific human skin tones, using color to serve the card's meaning.
