The Divine Lotus Tarot Deck (Canceled)

The Divine Lotus Tarot Deck is a 78-card deck conceptualized by creator Esena, aiming to offer a simplistic design for contemporary tarot readers. Launched on Kickstarter in 2020, the project sought to bring a modern aesthetic to the traditional tarot system. While the campaign was ultimately canceled, its intent was to provide a straightforward and accessible deck.

The deck's design philosophy emphasizes simplicity, catering to individuals who appreciate clean lines and uncluttered imagery in their divination tools. This approach suggests a focus on clarity and direct interpretation, potentially making it suitable for both new and experienced readers who prefer a less ornate visual style. The inclusion of 78 cards indicates adherence to the standard Major and Minor Arcana structure, ensuring compatibility with established tarot reading practices.

The campaign offered various reward tiers, including a single deck, a deck with a crystal keychain, and multiple deck copies with a mini tarot goodie bag. These tiers highlight the creator's intention to provide both the core deck and complementary accessories, enhancing the overall user experience for backers.

The artwork is described as 'simplistic,' suggesting a clean, uncluttered visual style that prioritizes clarity over intricate detail. While no images are available, this description implies a modern aesthetic, possibly featuring minimalist designs, clear lines, and a focused color palette. The 'Divine Lotus' name might hint at botanical or spiritual motifs, but the primary emphasis is on a straightforward and accessible visual language.

This deck is designed for modern tarot lovers who appreciate a simplistic and uncluttered aesthetic. It would appeal to beginners seeking an approachable entry into tarot, as well as experienced readers who prefer a clean visual style that allows for intuitive interpretation without distraction. Collectors interested in unique, minimalist designs might also find it appealing.
