Tarot Deck with Vintage """"""""Pulp Fantasy"""""""" Art -Poker Size Cards

The Pulp Fantasy Tarot Deck is a complete 78-card set, encompassing both the Major and Minor Arcana, all rendered in a distinctive art style. The deck's central theme draws heavily from the aesthetic of vintage pulp fantasy magazines, promising imagery that evokes classic adventure and speculative fiction from that era. This approach suggests a deck that will appeal to enthusiasts of retro fantasy art and those looking for a tarot experience with a nostalgic, adventurous flair.

A notable feature of this deck is its 'poker size' dimensions, measuring 2.5" x 3.5". This compact size makes the deck highly portable and easy to handle, distinguishing it from many standard tarot decks which are typically larger. The cards are designed to be fully illustrated, ensuring that each of the 78 cards contributes to the overarching pulp fantasy narrative and visual theme. The deck was successfully funded on Kickstarter, indicating community interest in its unique size and thematic art style.

Each deck is packaged in a muslin bag, a simple and practical choice for storage and transport. While specific details about card stock or finish are not provided, the emphasis on 'amazing pulp magazine artwork' suggests a focus on the visual impact of the illustrations. The deck aims to offer a functional tarot tool while also serving as a collectible item for fans of its specific artistic genre.

The artwork is described as 'pulp magazine artwork,' which typically implies a style characterized by bold lines, dramatic compositions, and often vibrant, if sometimes muted, color palettes reminiscent of mid-20th-century fantasy and sci-fi illustrations. This style often features heroic figures, fantastical creatures, and adventurous scenes. Without visual input, it's inferred that the illustrations aim to capture the nostalgic, often dramatic, and imaginative qualities associated with vintage pulp fiction covers and interior art.

This deck is ideal for tarot readers who appreciate vintage aesthetics, particularly fans of classic pulp fantasy, sci-fi, and adventure genres. Its unique poker size makes it suitable for readers who prefer a more compact, portable deck, or those with smaller hands. Collectors of themed tarot decks and individuals seeking a deck with a distinct, nostalgic artistic identity will also find it appealing.
