Tarot de Quebrantamiento: An Embodied Kinetics Healing Deck

El Tarot de Quebrantamiento, conceived by Estrellx Supernova and The Cosmic Angels, is presented as an embodied kinetics healing deck. This project aimed to commission the design of the deck, which is intended to be the first in a series. The deck's core purpose revolves around healing and self-discovery, utilizing a unique approach that integrates movement and introspection.

The deck is accompanied by a "Booklet of Descriptions" which also functions as a "Quebrantamiento Journal." This journal component is designed to provide users with space to record insights, engage with rituals, and perform exercises embedded within the booklet, enhancing the interactive and healing aspects of the deck. The emphasis on embodied kinetics suggests a focus on physical and energetic engagement with the cards, moving beyond purely intellectual interpretation.

While described as a "Tarot" deck, the available imagery and campaign details suggest an oracle-style approach with text-based prompts rather than traditional tarot iconography. The deck is positioned as a tool for BIQT+ Creatives and Allies, reflecting the creator's background as a queer Afro-Guatemalan Cosmic Energetic Orchestrator and healer. The project, though failing to fund, garnered significant interest with 145 backers.

The artwork for Tarot de Quebrantamiento is minimalist and text-focused, featuring bold, sans-serif typography against abstract, wave-like backgrounds. The color palette is vibrant and modern, utilizing bright pink, orange, green, and blue hues. Each card observed displays a question or statement, such as "What do you Really Want?" or "Stillness is an option." The backgrounds consist of flowing, translucent lines that create a sense of depth and movement, suggesting an energetic or cosmic theme. The overall aesthetic is clean, contemporary, and designed to be visually engaging while prioritizing the textual message.

This deck is suited for individuals interested in self-healing, embodied practices, and intuitive work, particularly those who prefer text-based oracle prompts over traditional symbolic imagery. It appeals to queer and BIPOC communities, aligning with the creator's focus on BIQT+ Creatives and Allies. Readers seeking a modern, minimalist aesthetic with a strong emphasis on personal reflection and journaling will find this deck engaging.
