Sleepwalker's Lenormand English Edition

The Sleepwalker's Lenormand, created by SENGIA Lite, is a 42-card divination deck that expands upon the thematic universe of the previously released Sleepwalker's Tarot. This Lenormand deck is presented as a collection of "snapshots of a wondrous dreamscape," aiming to provide intuitive insights through its unique visual language. The deck adheres to the traditional Lenormand system, featuring key symbols that are reinterpreted through the artist's distinctive style.

One of the most notable aspects of this deck is its dual aesthetic offering. It is available in two distinct editions: a highly colorful version that bursts with vivid hues, and a grayscale edition that presents a more subdued, darker interpretation of the dreamscape theme. This choice allows readers to select a deck that resonates with their personal aesthetic preferences or the mood of their readings, whether they seek vibrant clarity or a more introspective, shadowy reflection.

Launched successfully on Kickstarter in 2024, the Sleepwalker's Lenormand garnered support from 114 backers, raising $7,093. This indicates a strong community interest in SENGIA Lite's artistic vision and the expansion of the Sleepwalker's series. The deck is designed to be accessible to both seasoned Lenormand readers and those new to the system, offering a fresh perspective on traditional symbols.

The artwork for the Sleepwalker's Lenormand is characterized by a bold, illustrative style with distinct outlines and a strong graphic presence. The colorful edition features a highly saturated palette, utilizing bright reds, electric blues, vibrant greens, and sunny yellows, often against a white background, creating a cheerful and energetic mood. The imagery, as seen on the box art, includes stylized hearts, crowns, and floral motifs, rendered with a whimsical, almost childlike quality. In contrast, the grayscale edition maintains the same illustrative style but uses a monochromatic palette of blacks, grays, and whites, with subtle hints of blue or purple in accents, giving it a more gothic or mysterious feel. Both versions share a consistent dreamscape theme, with elements like stars and butterflies suggesting a fantastical, ethereal quality.

This deck is ideal for Lenormand readers who appreciate unique, artistic interpretations of traditional symbols and are drawn to dreamlike or fantastical aesthetics. It particularly appeals to collectors of SENGIA Lite's work, especially those who own the Sleepwalker's Tarot and wish to expand their collection. The availability of both colorful and grayscale editions makes it suitable for readers who prefer either a vibrant, energetic visual experience or a more subdued, introspective one. It can also serve as an engaging entry point for beginners to the Lenormand system who are looking for a deck with a distinct personality.
