Rooted Remembrance Tarot

The Rooted Remembrance Tarot, created by Rae Serafina Barker, is an oracle deck intended to guide users in reconnecting with their innate sense of knowing and personal power. The deck's core philosophy centers on the idea of 'rooting into knowing' and finding one's way back to the 'magic within,' suggesting a journey of self-discovery and spiritual grounding. This approach positions the deck as a tool for introspection, personal growth, and accessing intuitive wisdom, rather than predictive fortune-telling.

The artwork is characterized by a dreamlike, ethereal quality, blending natural elements with cosmic imagery and human figures. The visual style, described as digitally collaged, creates layered scenes that evoke a sense of depth and spiritual connection. The deck aims to provide a supportive and empowering experience, helping individuals navigate their inner landscapes and cultivate a stronger sense of self. Its focus on remembrance implies a process of recalling inherent truths and strengths that may have been forgotten or obscured.

While the exact card count and physical specifications are not detailed in the available campaign story, the deck's purpose as an oracle for inner work is clear. It successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2023, indicating a community interest in its themes of self-empowerment and spiritual connection. The deck is designed for those seeking a gentle yet profound tool for daily guidance and deeper self-understanding.

The artwork is a complex digital collage, characterized by multiple layers of imagery that create a luminous, ethereal effect. The color palette predominantly features cool tones — blues, greens, and purples — often infused with sparkling light effects and cosmic textures. Human figures, often depicted in poses of contemplation or empowerment, are seamlessly integrated into natural landscapes (trees, foliage) and celestial backdrops (stars, nebulae). The style is highly atmospheric and dreamlike, with a soft focus that blurs the lines between different elements, making the images feel otherworldly and deeply spiritual. The use of light and shadow is dramatic, emphasizing glowing centers and mystical energy flows.

This deck is ideal for individuals engaged in spiritual practices, self-discovery, and intuitive development. It will appeal to those who appreciate highly aesthetic, ethereal, and nature-inspired artwork, particularly fans of digital collage. Readers seeking a gentle, supportive oracle for daily guidance, meditation, and connecting with their inner wisdom will find this deck resonant. It is suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced oracle users, who are looking for a tool focused on personal empowerment and introspection.
