North American Animal Wisdom Oracle

The North American Animal Wisdom Oracle is a 72-card oracle deck created by Angela Raincatcher, a nature writer, spirit-led artist, and Pagan priestess. The deck focuses exclusively on the diverse wildlife of North America, aiming to connect users with the spiritual wisdom and guidance embodied by these animals. Each card features a different animal, inviting reflection on its unique characteristics and symbolic meanings within a spiritual context.

Raincatcher's background as a nature writer and Pagan priestess informs the deck's interpretive approach, suggesting a focus on deep connection to the natural world and animistic spiritual principles. The deck is intended to be a tool for personal insight and spiritual journeying, drawing on the inherent wisdom perceived in the animal kingdom. The campaign successfully funded in 2023 with 117 backers, indicating a community interest in nature-based divination tools.

Beyond the deck itself, the campaign offered various tiers that included altar cards featuring specific 'spiritual sponsors' like Raven, Brown Bear, and Octopus, as well as membership to an exclusive online group for ongoing interpretations and updates. This suggests an interactive and evolving project, where the creator continues to engage with the community and deepen the understanding of the oracle's messages.

Based on the campaign description, the artwork features wild animals of North America. While specific visual details like color palette, style, or medium are not provided, the creator's background as a 'spirit-led artist' and 'nature writer' suggests an artistic approach that likely emphasizes the naturalistic depiction and spiritual essence of each animal. The inclusion of altar cards for Raven, Brown Bear, and Octopus implies these animals are central to the deck's spiritual framework, and their individual card designs would likely be prominent and detailed.

This deck is ideal for nature enthusiasts, practitioners of Paganism or animistic spirituality, and anyone seeking guidance through animal symbolism. It appeals to readers interested in connecting with the specific energies and lessons of North American wildlife. It would also suit those who appreciate decks with a clear thematic focus and a creator with a spiritual background.
