Little Energies - children's oracle deck

The Little Energies oracle deck is a 24-card set specifically designed to introduce children to concepts of energy wellness and chakra alignment. Created by Sky Bradshaw, the deck provides a gentle and interactive approach to understanding one's inner energy system. Each card focuses on a different aspect of energy management, categorized into Imagination, Movement, and Mantra cards, offering practical exercises and affirmations.

The deck's core purpose is to support healthy energy habits in young individuals by providing tools for self-regulation and emotional awareness. The Imagination cards encourage creative visualization, guiding children to imagine energy flowing within their bodies. Movement cards suggest physical activities to help energy move, while Mantra cards offer positive affirmations to foster a healthy mindset. This multi-faceted approach ensures that children can engage with the concepts through various learning styles.

Launched successfully on Kickstarter in 2023, the deck emphasizes a holistic view of well-being, making abstract concepts like chakras tangible and actionable for a younger audience. The colorful and simple design aims to be inviting and easy for children to understand, promoting a positive and empowering relationship with their own energy.

The artwork is characterized by a vibrant, rainbow-like color palette, utilizing broad, expressive brushstrokes that give a sense of dynamic energy. The card backs feature a full spectrum rainbow, while the fronts incorporate these colors in a more abstract, swirling pattern, often with a central white space for text. The illustrations are simple and iconic, such as a meditating figure or a stylized head, rendered in clean line art. A key visual element is a child figure with clearly marked chakras, each depicted with its corresponding color, making the abstract concept of energy centers visually accessible for children. The overall style is cheerful, clear, and designed to be engaging for a young audience.

This deck is ideal for parents, educators, or caregivers looking for a gentle and engaging way to introduce children to mindfulness, emotional regulation, and basic energy concepts like chakras. It suits children who are curious about their feelings and inner world, offering simple, actionable exercises. It's particularly well-suited for families interested in holistic wellness and spiritual practices, adapted for a younger demographic.
