I-Ching Oracle (Change Tarot)

The I-Ching Oracle, also known as the Change Tarot, is a 64-card oracle deck that draws its inspiration from the ancient Chinese classic, the I-Ching or Book of Changes. Created by Fengshuicos, an experienced astrologist and fengshui master, the deck translates the complex wisdom of the I-Ching's 64 hexagrams into visually accessible cards. Each card is designed to represent a specific hexagram, featuring natural painting styles that evoke traditional Chinese art.

The deck aims to provide guidance for personal transformation and understanding the flow of life's changes, aligning with the core philosophy of the I-Ching. The artwork combines classical landscape elements with symbolic representations of each hexagram's meaning, making the ancient text approachable for modern readers. The inclusion of an online beginner's guide suggests an intention to make this profound system accessible even to those new to I-Ching divination.

Launched successfully on Kickstarter in 2023, the deck was well-received by backers interested in Eastern philosophy and unique oracle systems. The physical product includes 64 uniquely designed cards and a hard box with the author's signature, emphasizing its collectible quality. The blend of traditional wisdom with a visually appealing format positions this deck as both a tool for introspection and a piece of art.

The artwork is characterized by a natural painting style, reminiscent of traditional Chinese ink wash painting (sumi-e) but with a richer, more varied color palette. The compositions feature serene landscapes, mountains, clouds, and celestial bodies, often rendered in muted tones of green, blue, and grey, contrasted with vibrant accents of gold, orange, and red. The image shows cards with a golden sun or moon motif, and detailed natural elements like fruit-laden branches and terraced fields. The overall aesthetic is elegant and contemplative, with a clear influence from classical East Asian art, creating a sense of depth and tranquility.

This deck is ideal for individuals interested in Eastern philosophy, particularly the I-Ching, who seek a visually engaging and intuitive way to access its wisdom. It appeals to oracle card collectors who appreciate traditional art styles and unique divination systems. Readers looking for a deck focused on change, personal growth, and understanding life's cycles will find it particularly resonant. It is suitable for both beginners to I-Ching with the online guide and experienced practitioners.
