Grounded Roots Intuitive Guidance Deck

The Grounded Roots Intuitive Guidance Deck is a 78-card oracle deck, conceptualized by Sam Black and brought to life through the watercolor illustrations of Victoria Heryet. Launched successfully on Kickstarter in 2019, the deck aims to provide intuitive guidance and spiritual insight, drawing inspiration from nature and a higher perspective. The campaign emphasized its suitability for all levels of readers, particularly those new to intuition or tarot, suggesting an accessible approach to divination.

Each card is designed to offer specific insights, with the accompanying illustrated guidebook detailing card descriptions and sample reading layouts. The deck's theme revolves around connecting with one's inner wisdom and the natural world, using imagery that evokes a sense of grounding and spiritual growth. The inclusion of chakra work in the card descriptions further highlights its focus on holistic well-being and energetic alignment, making it a tool for self-reflection and personal development.

The physical deck comes in a two-piece box and includes a comprehensive guidebook, ensuring that users have all the necessary tools for an enriching reading experience. The collaboration between Sam Black's spiritual vision and Victoria Heryet's artistic talent results in a deck that is both aesthetically pleasing and deeply meaningful, intended to infuse readings with love and a higher perspective.

The artwork is rendered in a distinct watercolor style, characterized by soft, blended colors and clear, dark outlines that give the illustrations a storybook quality. The image provided, likely a card from the deck, depicts a vibrant natural scene with a prominent tree of life motif, complete with swirling branches and visible roots, symbolizing grounding and connection. Surrounding the tree are various elements of nature: fluffy bunnies, rows of sunflowers, thistles, and wheat fields, all painted with a gentle hand. The color palette is bright and inviting, featuring lush greens, warm yellows, and soft blues, creating an overall whimsical and nurturing atmosphere. The style is consistent with the campaign's description of 'watercolor painted and inspired by Spirit,' suggesting a blend of natural imagery with spiritual symbolism.

This deck is ideal for individuals seeking gentle, nature-inspired guidance, particularly those new to oracle cards or intuitive practices. Its accessible imagery and focus on spiritual well-being make it suitable for beginners, while the detailed guidebook and chakra integration can appeal to more experienced readers interested in holistic approaches. Collectors who appreciate whimsical, hand-drawn watercolor art with a strong spiritual theme will also find this deck appealing.
