Cosmic Odyssey

The 'Cosmic Odyssey' project encompasses both a visionary fiction novel and an oracle deck, conceived by Teressena Bakens and Martien Bakens. The novel, Teressena's first in this genre, weaves esoteric wisdom and cosmic knowledge into a narrative that explores the collective heroes' journey through the characters Elle and Grin. The accompanying oracle deck is designed to present a new mythology of awakened archetypes, intended to serve as a tool for personal alignment and spiritual exploration.

The oracle deck is presented as a companion to the novel, offering a practical application of the concepts and archetypes introduced within the story. It aims to provide guidance and insight for individuals navigating their own 'Cosmic Odyssey,' aligning with the creators' backgrounds in metaphysical topics and healing modalities. The project emphasizes themes of self-discovery, alignment with one's true self, and the integration of cosmic knowledge into daily life.

While specific details about the card count or physical characteristics of the deck are not provided, the overall concept positions 'Cosmic Odyssey' as a comprehensive spiritual toolkit. It is designed to be utilized by those seeking to deepen their understanding of archetypal energies and embark on a journey of personal transformation, drawing on the combined creative and spiritual expertise of its creators.

The artwork for the 'Cosmic Odyssey' oracle deck is a collaborative effort between Teressena Bakens, who contributes painting, drawing, and weaving, and Martien Bakens, who specializes in fantasy photography and digital creation. This suggests a mixed-media approach, likely combining traditional art forms with photographic elements and digital manipulation to create expansive, visionary imagery. The campaign describes Martien's work as capturing 'the essence of beauty and the joy of life,' indicating a visually rich and perhaps ethereal aesthetic, suitable for a mythology of awakened archetypes.

This oracle deck and novel set is ideal for individuals interested in visionary fiction, new mythologies, and archetypal psychology. It will appeal to spiritual seekers, healers, practitioners, and teachers looking for tools to assist clients and students on their journey of self-discovery and alignment. Readers who appreciate esoteric wisdom, cosmic knowledge, and a blend of artistic mediums will find this project particularly engaging.
