Cards for Remembering 2nd Edition Deck

The Cards for Remembering 2nd Edition is a 48-card oracle deck created by artist and teacher Cory Lockhart, founder of Hart Communication, LLC. This deck is designed as a tool for self-connection, self-compassion, and self-care, offering gentle affirmations and prompts for personal reflection. The 2nd edition expands upon the original deck by including four new cards, enhancing its capacity to support users in their journey toward inner peace and well-being.

Each card features a hand-lettered affirmation or phrase, such as "I am allowed to SHINE!" or "I choose curiosity over judgement," paired with abstract watercolor illustrations. The deck's primary purpose is to encourage users to remember their inherent worth and interconnectedness, aligning with Lockhart's belief in the fundamental dignity of every person. It serves as a daily reminder to approach oneself with kindness and understanding.

The deck is accompanied by a digital guidebook, which provides further context and guidance for interpreting the cards and integrating their messages into daily life. The overall design and messaging emphasize a holistic approach to mental and emotional health, making it a supportive resource for individuals seeking to cultivate a more compassionate relationship with themselves.

The artwork is characterized by a vibrant, hand-painted watercolor style, featuring abstract forms and a bright, inviting color palette. Each card combines fluid washes of color—ranging from sunny yellows and greens to deep purples and blues—with simple, hand-lettered affirmations in black ink. The compositions are generally minimalist, focusing on a central image or a gradient of colors that evoke natural elements like light, water, or earth. The visual style is intentionally soft and approachable, designed to complement the deck's themes of self-compassion and gentle introspection. The overall aesthetic is warm and encouraging, reflecting the deck's positive messaging.

This deck is ideal for individuals seeking tools for daily self-care, mindfulness, and emotional well-being. It particularly appeals to those who appreciate a gentle, affirming approach to divination and personal growth, rather than predictive readings. Beginners to oracle decks will find its straightforward messages and intuitive artwork accessible. It also suits those interested in journaling, meditation, or anyone looking for a visual prompt to foster self-compassion and positive self-talk.
