Abstract Heart Oracle: Initiation

The Abstract Heart Oracle: Initiation is a 79-card oracle deck created by Alexander Speaks, conceptualized as a profound 'love letter to water, emotions, and humanity.' The deck aims to explore the depths of human feeling and its connection to the elemental force of water, offering a tool for introspection and emotional understanding. Each card is designed with premium production qualities, including blue edged matte finishes, Spot UV details, and hot foil accents, suggesting a visually rich and tactile experience.

The deck is accompanied by a high-quality soft matte laminated hardcover guidebook, which is notable for its dual focus on both oracle and tarot interpretations. This suggests a versatile system that can be used by readers familiar with either framework, or those looking to bridge the two. Additionally, a workbook is included, indicating an interactive component designed to deepen the user's engagement with the cards and their personal emotional journey. The overall package points to a comprehensive system for self-discovery and emotional exploration.

Launched on Kickstarter in 2021, the campaign successfully raised $4,132 from 82 backers, demonstrating community interest in its unique theme and high-quality production. The emphasis on water and emotions positions this deck as a resource for those seeking to connect with their inner world and understand the fluid nature of feelings. The combination of a dedicated oracle system with tarot-compatible guidance makes it a distinctive offering in the divination space.

While no images are available, the campaign description emphasizes premium production details such as Spot UV accents and hot foil, suggesting a sophisticated and visually engaging design. The 'abstract' in the deck's name, combined with the theme of water and emotions, implies artwork that is likely non-representational or symbolic, focusing on color, texture, and form to evoke feelings rather than depict literal scenes. The blue edged matte finishes further hint at a cohesive aesthetic, likely leaning into cool tones and fluid imagery to align with the water theme.

This deck is ideal for intuitive readers and those with an interest in emotional exploration, self-discovery, and the symbolism of water. Its dual oracle/tarot guidebook makes it suitable for both experienced oracle users and tarot readers looking to expand their practice with a thematically rich, non-traditional deck. Collectors who appreciate high-quality production, including special finishes like hot foil and Spot UV, will also find this deck appealing.
